Farmhouse Christmas Wreath

Farmhouse Christmas Wreath

Hi my sweet friends,

I know it is still a few days until Thanksgiving, but Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  Even though I am not putting up decor until the day after Thanksgiving, I still wanted to share with you our farmhouse Christmas wreath.

Farmhouse Christmas Wreath

The first wreath we ever had was actually a Christmas wreath.  I bought this little fellow {affiliate link} at Hobby Lobby on sale a couple of years ago.  Back then I decorated it with some classic ornaments and kept it that way for two years in a row.  This year I felt like I wanted to switch things up and create a farmhouse Christmas wreath.  I bought some new fun decor items at Hobby Lobby and Walmart.  Decorating the wreath took no time whatsoever, which makes this another super easy little diy project.  To see the full tutorial jump on over to North Country Nest.

So what do you think?  I really love the farmhouse flair it adds.  My favorite decor item is probably the little bird that I found at Walmart.  That was completely an impulse buy and not planned at all.  Hubby was looking at some storage boxes which happened to be in the same isle.  So I told him it was his fault that I bought another decor item.  Not that I need an excuse—he knows I love to shop for decor items.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and as always, happy diy’ing!

Perfect Christmas wreath and would go perfect with my country, antique farmhouse style. Plus so many ways to personalize.

[…] This wreath is adorable; I love how cozy it looks up there on the door. This wreath would also be pretty simple to make. You could even use ornaments from your own tree if you didn’t want to buy any new ones. Check out the instructions HERE. […]
