Rustic Holiday Cards

Rustic Holiday Cards

Hello friends,

November is almost over and it is time to plan for the holidays.  All I am thinking about these days is Christmas decor and I can’t wait to start decorating.  Today I wanted to share with you some fun and easy DIY rustic holiday cards.

Rustic Holiday Cards

Every year hubby and I talk about sending out holiday cards but never end up doing it.  Usually because we don’t have a nice family picture so I decided to make some rustic holiday cards this year.  That way we avoid the missing family picture all together.

Rustic Holiday Cards – Get started

For those of you who have been visiting regularly you know how much I love easy DIYs.  These holiday cards are no exception and I will actually show you three different types of cards.  This will give you some options but it also shows you that your possibilities are endless.  And now with no further ado let’s get started.

Mini Wreath Holiday Card

The steps for each of the cards will be similar and I will start with the mini wreath holiday card.  First step is to place some hot glue onto the back of the mini wreath.  Then place the wreath onto the card and press it in.  Hold the wreath in place for a minute so the glue can dry.  Next use your pen and write your holiday message either above or below the wreath.  That’s it!

Cranberry Stem Holiday Card

The steps are the same as with the wreath card.  Start by placing some hot glue on the back of the cranberry stem.  Then place the stem onto the card and hold it in place for one minute.  I decided to create a tiny bow as well and used this tutorial for the bow.  Afterwards use your pen and write your holiday message.

Merry Christmas felt letter Card

Out of all three cards this one is the easiest.  All you have to do is place some glue on the back of the lettering.  Then place it onto the card and hold it in place until the glue drys.  Done.

There you have it, three beautiful and unique rustic holiday cards.

I love how easy and simple is to make them.  They truly are the perfect alternative to holiday cards.  Which one is your favorite?

Ahhh these are truly beautiful! That is such a smart idea for when you really don’t have family photos. It adds the personal touch without your actual photos. Love them!!
